Rosanna built her career in the Philippines, including a senior analyst role at PwC, where she was seconded to Australia to train in SMSF administration. On returning to Manila, she helped establish and lead a local support team for SMSF clients.
She began working with David in 2015 as a freelancer, supporting tax and compliance work. Over time, their working relationship evolved into a shared vision to create an offshore model built on people, not price. Offshore Synergy officially launched in 2022.

David began his accounting career in 2000, back when finding local talent was relatively easy. As time went on, especially in regional areas, the talent pool began to shrink, making it harder to scale without overloading his existing team or compromising on quality.
By 2010, he had shifted focus to supporting small to medium businesses and investor clients. In an effort to solve capacity challenges, he trialled offshore options in Vietnam, India and Sri Lanka. But these early experiences fell short, with poor workflow integration, limited oversight and a lack of cultural alignment.
In 2015, David began working with Rosanna as a freelancer supporting SMSF administration and compliance. Her technical capability, communication and leadership made an immediate impact. Over time, their working relationship evolved into a shared vision to build something better.
David leads with a strong sense of commercial clarity, professionalism and care. He believes that firms should not have to choose between growth and team well-being. Through Offshore Synergy, he helps other firms build sustainable capacity with the kind of people he’d want in his own team.
